

Richard Petrillo of Vancouver, Washington passed away December 30, 2015 at the age of 87. Richard was born on June 7, 1928 in Cleveland, Ohio to Joseph & Josephine Petrillo (Moscati), he was the youngest of eight children. In 1944 at the age of sixteen, he joined the Merchant Marines and then later enlisted in the Navy. Richard spent 23 years serving his country, retiring as a Master Chief Radioman. After retiring from the Navy, Richard worked for the Xerox Company for several years in San Francisco, later establishing his own company in Silicon Valley at what he said to be “just the right time”. He later worked independently as a Financial Advisor for 25 years. Richard is survived by his wife Karen, son Richie, daughter Courtney, stepson Kurt Vondross (Betty), step daughter Vicki Vondross (Alan Mosher), grandchildren John and Joe Vondross. He was preceded in death by a daughter Denise Vondross. A funeral service is scheduled for Tuesday, January 12, 2015 at 12:30 p.m. at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home with a viewing one hour prior to service. Interment will immediately follow at Willamette National Cemetery with military honors.
