Ritva (Rita) Helena was born October 15, 1932 to parents Jalmar Valdemar and Maria Johanna Aro in Tampere, Finland. After a long career with First National Bank (now Wells Fargo) she retired in 1988. She is preceded in death by her husband Pentti Olavi Kaipola (1980) and brothers Reino Valdemar Aro (1980) and Rainer Armas Aro (2010). She is survived by daughters Helena (Dan) Purcell, Milwaukie, Oregon, and Marianne (Ryan) Fraunfelder, Tigard, Oregon; grand- and step-grandchildren Mathew, Christopher, and Andrew Mika Purcell, Andrea Trepina, Megan Bray, Colin and Kyle Fraunfelder; three great-grandchildren. There will be a graveside service held at Lincoln Memorial Park on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers please send memorial contributions to Kaiser Permanente Hospice Program or American Cancer Society.
