Robert Casper Belt Jr.

Robert served in the United States Marine Corps from 1968 to 1972, including two tours in Vietnam.

Robert graduated from high school and later pursued nursing school, ultimately spending most of his working years as a nurse. Over the course of his career, he also worked as a truck driver and in the hotel business. He retired in the early 2000s.

In October 1971, Robert married Judy Jones. The marriage ended in divorce in 1986.

Robert is survived by his daughter, Lisa Belt, and her two sons, Andrew Reveles and Adam Reveles; and by his son and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Meghan Belt, and their six children: Emily, Caleb, Molly, Ashli, Lacey, and Jessi. He is also survived by four sisters: Sue Mehler, Janet York, Robbin Lewis, and Pam Mesey. Robert was preceded in death by his sister, Linda Callewaert, in 1982.

A committal service will be held on April 30, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, Oregon. 11800 SE Mt. Scott Blvd. A memorial service will be held on June 7, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at VFW Post 2482 in St. Clair, Missouri. 1087 N Service Rd W.
