As a kid I loved staying with my Auntie Jo and uncle bob, Auntie jo for her love for dogs, uncle bob for his half this and half that pick up truck
I loved it when they came over to our house, best times of my life
Uncle bob, you were dearly loved, you were a special part of my life

Love, Duane

Torin Braaten

June 24, 2020

In the Braaten family, he was always "Rudy" or "Foster" to us.

As a kiddo growing up in NW Portland, sometimes he and Donna would drive over in one of their old Dodges to talk to my dad. I always loved their visits because when Rudy was behind the wheel and ready to leave, I knew it was about to get loud. He would lean forward in the driver's seat and punch it - leaving a strip of burnt rubber and tire smoke out on our street. Sometimes neighbors would look out their windows - I'm sure it drove Donna nuts.

I'll always remember those visits as a kid. We'll miss you Rudy.
