Robert Wayne Palmer was born in Jacksonville, Florida, and passed away peacefully in Portland, Oregon. A proud Navy veteran, Robert served with honor, including combat duty in Cuba.
Son of George Palmer and Nevada Mason, Robert dedicated much of his working life as a skilled production painter in steel manufacturing.
He is survived by his son, Jurgen Palmer, and was the beloved husband of the late Marion Palmer.
A funeral service will be held at Skyline Memorial Gardens on August 15, 2025, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., followed by burial at 1:00 p.m.
Robert’s steady hand and quiet strength will be deeply missed by those who knew him.
