Robert grew up in Portland, Oregon and after graduating from Grant High School, he entered the U.S. Navy where he served his country for 30 years. During his career Robert traveled the world working at duty stations in Morocco, Guam, Japan, and Scotland in addition to several stateside locations. Upon his retirement he returned to Portland to live in true retirement, golfing, fishing, and meeting friends for coffee.
Robert was preceeded in death by his parents Mildred and Oliver Plumb, Jr. He is survived by his sister Diann (Joe) Plumb-Stambaugh; daughter Pennie Magnes; granddaughter Nicole (Javari) Neal; great grandchildren AvaMarie, LeiLani & Javari Jr; several much beloved nieces and nephews.
Per Robert’s request there will be no funeral services.
