Robert met his wife while on leave during World War II. He asked her to marry him 4 days later. They were married 65 years.
Robert was the Pastor of Sunset Presbyterian Church for 13 years. A memorial service is planned for Friday January 13, 2012 at 1:00pm in Sunset Presbyterian Church, 14986 NW Cornell Rd., Portland.
In lieu of flowers, donations to hospice are suggested.
