Ronald Craig McCarter

Shortly after graduating from Madison High School, Ron enlisted into the Navy. During his time in the service he lived in Guam and attended school there. Later he moved back to the states and settled in San Bernardino. One night while out dancing, he met the love of his wife, Audrey Bouley. Ron and Audrey married on November 16, 1986 in Las Vegas, they shared 6 children together and later moved to Portland, Oregon. Ron deeply loved his family, he especially adored his 19 grandkids. In Ron's spare time you could find him fishing, out in the woods shooting, on the open road with his Harley, traveling and traveling with his 5th wheel or out shopping for deals. After retirement, Ron settled near the beach in Ilwaco, Washington. One of Ron's constant companions in his life was Chi Chi, his beloved Shar Pei dog.

Ronald was preceded in death by his spouse Audrey Bouley McCarter.

Ronald is survived by his children, Gabrielle Bruce, Matthew Madura, Joey Madura, Heather Madura, Bobby Madura, and James McCarter; and 19 grandchildren.

A committal service for Ronald will be held Thursday, January 13, 2022 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at Willamette National Cemetery, 11800 SE Mt Scott Blvd., Happy Valley, OR 97086.
