Rosalie Ann Groth

Rosie was surrounded by her family when she passed on into the loving arms of her Savior. She loved the Lord and went home to be with him. Rosie grew up in the St. Johns area of Portland where she graduated from Roosevelt High School. She was married to Bill Groth for 56 years. They resided in Happy Valley where they raised their 3 children. Rosie was a loving wife and mother. She had a compassionate heart that extended far beyond her family and friends. Rosie reached out to others through her volunteer work with Meals on Wheels and other various organizations. She enjoyed reading her Bible, bible study, home extension, working in the yard, being in the sunshine, trips to the beach, and golf in her younger years. Due to her health, the last several years Rosie was limited in being able to do the things that she loved, but that did not stop her from being concerned about her family's' needs. Her family was her top priority. Rosie was predeceased by her parents Clarence 'Man' and June Beam; and her youngest son Scott. She is survived by her husband Bill; daughter Suzanne Leitz; son Roger; 7 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; and brother Jerry Beam. A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date in June. Funeral notice will be posted at that time with the specifics.
