Rosemary Demarinis was born Dec. 7, 1925, in Portland, where she lived all her life. She graduated from Commerce High School and worked in the shipyards during World War II.
She also was a ticket counter clerk for United Airlines, as well as a newspaper advertising model, before becoming a homemaker. In 1950, she married John F.; he died in 1980.
Survivors include her sons, Michael, Dennis and Anthony; brothers, Joe Demarinis and Paul Demarinis; and two grandchildren.
