Mrs Grover was my teacher at Centennial High School.  The course was English for college credit. She inspired me to work at writing, so that it would be my best effort. I was ready for college thanks to that. For all that she imparted she had my thanks over and over during my college years, and even now during my work life, she is still in my thoughts. I should have thanked her in person. Now my thoughts of gratitude will be directed heavenward.

I am Patricia, Sue Kimmel's sister.  Sue and Rosemary were best friends from the time they started teaching at Centennial High School.  Sue was visiting us from Florida this last June and was able to spend an afternoon with Rosemary.  Over the many years I was able to share birthday and holiday visits with Rosemary.  I was able to visit with her even more after she joined my P.E.O. chapter.  It was always fun to see her and she will be greatly missed.

Rosemary were friends in Jr. High and High School in Salem, Or. After college and marriage, we often got together and did activities as families.  We each had Shetland ponies for our children. She was a great friend.

 Rosemary was a 54 year member of P.E.O. She worked hard to help P.E.O. support education for women at all ages and stages of their lives. She was a cherished, energetic and wonderful woman who will be missed by all her P.E.O. sisters in Chapter AN and throughout the state of Oregon.

I taught with Rosemary at Centennial High School.  Rosemary was a dedicated educator who was missed when she retired.  Family was important to Rosemary, and she always asked me about my family.  My sympathy goes out to her family.

Rosemary and I met in Salem in Parrish Jr High and were best friends all through high school.  There are so many warm and fun memories with her.  I both smile and cry when I think of her now.

I loved Mrs. Grover's AP English class at Centennial.  She had so much to share with her class - literature, history, and solid writing skills.  And she didn't mess around.  She used that hour to teach.  It was time well spent with her, and I apply what she taught every day. My prayers and thoughts are with her and her family.

Rosemary offered wit and knowledge to students and faculty members alike.  My sympathy to her family.

If this is the Mrs. Grover who taught at Centennial High School in Gresham, Oregon:  Rest in peace, Mrs. Grover.  Without taking your Senior English Class for HS and College credit in 1975-1976, I would have been far behind my Freshman Year of College.  You taught me well, and the care you took carried me through my Masters Degree.  You were a good, old-fashioned, exacting academic, and I loved you for it!  Rest well.  My deepest sympathy to her family.

Since we met at a Rainbow Girls Dads Dinner in 1948, Rosemary was my "bestest friend'.  Our three years at Salem High School were highlighted thanks to such fun being in plays together.
She was without a doubt the smartest person I ever met as to little grey cells.  What a USA president SHE could have been!  We thought alike.
   May those she loved and who loved her, blessed be.

 I taught with Rosemary in the English department at Centennial for a number of years before her aneurysm took her from teaching. Her dedication, her sharp wit, and her collegiality always drew me to her. Luckily, she kept that sparkle in her eyes after her retirement, and she and I shared some great memories even in her last months. My condolences to the family for losing a great mom and to her colleagues for losing a great friend.

Sending my sympathy to all of Rosemary's family.  She was such a great lady, and wonderful neighbor.  May she rest in peace.
