

Royle, known to her loved ones as Yvonne, was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her children Derrick "Ric" May (Valorie), Terese Brockmueller, Jacob May (Nicole), and Jody Angier (Daniel). Yvonne will also be fondly remembered by her grandchildren Rob May, Natalie May, Loriana May, Katelyn May, Rachelle Angier,,Courtney May, James Angier, Nate May, Jessa May, Lucas May, Brody May, and great-grandchildren Kaiden May and Alicia Royle Daly, who was born on the same day Yvonne passed away. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Dale May, her brother Edward McBride, her son-in-law Scott Brockmueller, and her grandchildren Leland Angier and Sharla Angier.
Yvonne had a passion for life and pursued various interests throughout her years. Although she initially trained as a dental hygienist at Dental Hygienist School in Seattle, Yvonne chose a different path and dedicated her time to raising her children in Deadwood, Oregon. Later, she became the manager of a convenience store in Eugene, Oregon, where she displayed her excellent organizational skills and dedication to her work. Yvonne eventually retired to Portland, Oregon, to live with her Daughter.
In her free time, Yvonne enjoyed a range of hobbies that brought her joy and relaxation. She had a green thumb and found solace in tending to her garden. Yvonne also had a talent for painting and enjoyed expressing her creativity through art. She found delight in solving puzzles, going for drives, and exploring the beautiful Oregon coast. Yvonne was also a skilled line dancer and practiced Tai Chi as a way to maintain her physical and mental well-being. Additionally, she shared a special bond with her friend Melia, with whom she enjoyed trips to the coast and exciting gambling adventures.
Yvonne will be remembered for her loving nature, her dedication to her family, and her zest for life. Her legacy will live on through the memories and lessons she imparted to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A private memorial service will be held to celebrate Yvonne's life and honor her memory. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly request’s donation’s to:
