Russell M. Busby

Russell M. Busby, 67, of Clackamas, Oregon passed away on Friday, March 11, 2011. Russell was born in Portland, Oregon on December 8, 1943 to Laurel and Nevada (Montague) Busby. He was a 1962 graduate of Milwaukie High School and spent most of his life in the Milwaukie-Clackamas area. He attended the University of Oregon. After graduation he worked as a machinist in the family business, The Busby Manufacturing Company, and later pursued a career in sales. Retired, Russell loved restoring and showing vintage cars and boats.

Russell is survived by his mother, Nevada Busby of Portland, sons Dan Busby of Portland, and Doug Busby of La Quinta, California, brother David Busby of Portland, sister Kathleen Dolson of Sisters, Oregon, and six grandchildren.

A graveside service for family and friends will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2011 at 1:00pm at Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery, 11801 SE Mount Scott Blvd, Portland. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Oregon Humane Society, 1067 NE Columbia Blvd, Portland, Oregon 97211.
