

Saad was born on May 3, 1931 in Zahle, Lebanon and immigrated to America in 1969. His US Postal Service career in downtown Portland spanned 29 years. He was an avid gardener, particularly proud of his grape vines and fig trees. He’ll be most remembered for his satirical humor, wit, and honesty.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 45 years, Mary Teeny; five siblings: Mary Robertson, Sam Teeny, Souad Teeny, Salwa Nesheiwat, and Saidi Rashed; five children: Joseph (Reena) Teeny, Hala (Michael) Lewis, Rema (Eric) Gossman, Summer (Anthony) Williams, and Kristie Teeny; 10 grandkids: Jasmine and Jacob Teeny; Micah, Summer, Mia and Will Lewis; Marcie Gossman; Daniel and Abraham Gedeon; and Giovanni Lavert-Teeny.
Viewing will be at Lincoln Memorial Park & Funeral Home, Portland, April 29th from 4 to 8pm.
Funeral will be at St. George Orthodox Christian Church, Portland, April 30th at 11am.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes that donations be sent to St. George Orthodox Christian Church or DaVita Village Trust.
