Sandra Jean Norton, age 69, of Gresham, Oregon passed away on Saturday, August 5, 2023. She was born June 30, 1954, in Anchorage, Alaska, to Bill & Donna Norton. Sandra grew up in Anchorage and graduated from East Anchorage High School.
Sandra went on to work as a teamster for Western Airlines. While not working, she was always ready to go fishing as long as she had some worms to fish with! She also valued her Church Community, attending St. Joseph the Worker in Gresham, Oregon.
Sandra will be remembered as a friendly, loving person. She had a special connection with animals that lasted her entire life.
Sandra is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Billy Norton of Pagosa Springs, Co., who passed away in 2022. She is survived by sisters, Cheri Rutter of Washougal, Wa. and Theresa O'Leary of Prescott, Az., and brothers, Kevin Norton of Anchorage, Ak., and Shawn Norton of Washougal, Wa. She is also survived by extended family who, like her siblings, will miss her dearly.
