Sharla was raised in Portland, Oregon. She was adopted by Edward Lape in 1960 or 1961 and lived in the Portland area for many years.
She attended Roosevelt High School and graduated in 1975.
She married Samuel Lambert on September 18th of 1975.
Sharla liked to scrapbook, travel, go bowling, and drink Jack Daniels while listening to a variety of music. She loved going to the beach and camping.
She is survived by her brothers Jerome Lape and Kelli Lape, and her sister Marilyn Lape. She is also survived by her children, Samantha Lambert, Sarah Rosenoff, Simon Lambert, Sharola Perry, and Jason
Blalock.
Her grandchildren are Isaac Lambert, Christian Lambert, Kyle Gaines, Jenna Rosenoff, Lilyanna and Jasmine Lambert, and Autumn Blalock.
Services for Sharla will be held at Finley Sunset Hills Mortuary on August 29th, 2025, with a viewing and funeral at 10am and burial at 12pm.
There will be a gathering and lunch at Olive Garden in Beaverton, OR, between 1:30pm and 2pm, for those who would like to join the family.
