Sharon Louise Stachniewicz of Portland, Oregon passed away at her home on January 21, 2026 at the age of 73. She was born on May 9, 1952 to Vincent and Mary Stachniewicz in Portland, Oregon. She worked in the medical field for 50 years before retiring in 2022. Sharon met her lifelong partner, Mike Benson, in 1981 and together they shared 42 years. Sharon adored her pet corgis, bowling, and extravagant holiday celebrations. She was preceded in death by her parents and partner. She is survived by her sister, Karen Lorentzen; her brother, Jimmy Stachniewicz; her nieces Ashley Lorentzen, DeeDee Lorentzen, and Bridget Anderson; her nephew, Christian Lorentzen; and her five great-nieces and great-nephews. In lieu of funeral services, a private remembrance will be scheduled at a future date.
