Siobain "Chevy" Ryan was born on September 22, 1965, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, to Tony and Deirdre Ryan. After a short stay in Minnesota and Texas, the Ryan family settled in Portland, Oregon, where Siobain was raised.

Siobain excelled in both academic classes and athletic activities throughout high school and college. Siobain’s favorite sport was soccer and she began playing soccer at an early age for the Shamrocks with her Auntie Maire as coach. She continued to play soccer for St. Mary's and Pacific University, earning the title of captain as selected by her peers and coaches. Siobain also played basketball, volleyball, softball, tennis and golf.
Siobain was recruited out of college by Gary Adams Productions in Portland Oregon. Some of her most notable projects included: Columbia House/Reader’s Digest Travel Series; US Government Training Videos; Children’s Educational Series; Oregon/Washington Education Programming and numerous commercial spots which included public service announcements, corporate promos, music videos, medical videos and more.
Many of Siobain’s productions gained significant recognition, most notably an EMMY award and Parents Choice Awards for Excellence.
Siobain continued her film production career with Craig Henderson Films and went on to become her own boss as a free-lance editor/producer. In addition, she worked alongside her father at Pro-Met Machining.
Siobain was very proud of her Irish heritage and had fond memories of trips to Ireland and great times with her cousins in Dublin.
Siobain is survived by her mother, Deirdre; father, Tony (Janet); brothers, Eamonn (Allison) and Brenden (Heidi); nephews, Declan, Ian, Patrick and niece, Makailan; aunts, Ann, Joan, Georgina, Margo (Dieter), Maire (Steve) and a clan of cousins in the U.S. and Ireland.

Siobain’s presence and her beautiful smile would light up a room, even when she arrived a bit late. She left us too soon, but she will be dearly missed and remain in our hearts forever.
