Solveig H Sieberts

Born 1921 to Hilda Magnusson Storkersen and Simon Kristian Storkersen in Harstad,

Norway. Moved to Portland in 1924 and attended Jefferson High School and Oregon

State College. With her husband Ned Sieberts started Sieberts Furniture in Beaverton in

1944. Was office manager of Midway Lumber and later managed Sieberts Furniture

when her husband Ned passed away in 1970. She was a Master Gardner.

Had a close life time relationship with her sisters Mary Patterson and Virginia Rittenour.

Is survived by her son Jan of Anchorage, Alaska and daughter Heidi of San Francisco;

grandchildren Dr. Kirsten Knight of Tucson, Dr. Solveig Sieberts of Seattle, and Soren

Sieberts of Anchorage; cousin Petter Moe, and many nieces and nephews of the

Rittenour, Patterson, and Sieberts clan. A special relationship developed with her caregiver

Olivia Tumbarello and others who helped in recent years.

Solveig was preceded in death by her husband Ned; son Stanley; brother Stanley Storkersen and sisters Mary Patterson and Virginia Rittenour.

A celebration of life will happen at a later date.
