Stella Marie Moran

She was born on May 4, 1940 in Merced, California to Salvador and Ignacia Montez. Marie attended Ceres High School in California.

Marie married Michael Moran in June of 1984.

She worked in the semiconductor industry for over forty years.

Marie attended St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Sandy, Oregon. She was an active member of the Sandy Senior Center. Throughout her life, she enjoyed hiking, sewing, and gardening.

Her warm smile, big heart, and gentle soul will forever be remembered. She was a woman of strong faith. Her family meant the world to her, and she worked hard her whole life, never wanting to be a burden on anyone. Her family will always cherish what an amazing mother and grandmother she was; one who truly loved unconditionally.

She is survived by her daughter, Kathy (Patrick) Malone and their children, Nicolas, Peter, and Dylan; and her son Steve Montez along with his children, Sam and Sophie. She also leaves behind five sisters and two brothers.

Services will be held on Friday, July 14th at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, 18090 SE Langensand Rd, Sandy. A rosary service will begin at 10:00am with a memorial mass at 11:00 am.
