Steven Hurt passed away on September 15, 2014 at the age of 69. He was born in Augusta, Wisconsin to parents James and Thelma Hurt. Steven loved cars and driving fast- his favorite car was his '66 GTO, which he managed to get plenty of tickets in. Steve loved going on drives, especially out to the beach or the mountains, but no matter how cold the weather got, he always kept the windows rolled down. Steve was a stubborn man, but joyful and full of pranks, even though he spent his last 7 years in a wheelchair. He loved to was peanuts and watch college football, especially Wisconsin, his home team.
Steve is survived by his sons Steven Scott, Zach, and James Hurt, and daughters Samantha, Alicia, and Cindy (Cooper) Hurt; step-daughters Wendy, Elise, and Tina, and his many grandchildren, as well as his brother Tom Hurt. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday September 24th at 11:00am at the Oregon City Church of the Nazarene(716 Taylor St Oregon City, OR 97045) Arrangements under the direction of Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home, Portland, OR.
