Sui Sum Leung, age 89, of Portland, Oregon, passed away peacefully at home on July 8, 2026, surrounded by her son and daughter, who loved her dearly. Born on June 12, 1937, in Taishan, China, she lived a life marked by kindness, thoughtfulness, and unwavering devotion to her family.
She was a mother whose love was steady, comforting, and unconditional. Her two grandchildren were her pride and joy — she spoiled them with affection, treats, and the kind of attention only a grandmother can give. Some of her happiest moments were spent going out to eat together as a family. For her, food wasn’t just a meal; it was a way to gather, connect, and celebrate the people she loved.
She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
A memorial service will be held on July 14th, at noon, at Lincoln Memorial Park & Funeral Home. A private viewing will be at 11:30 am for family and friends.
