

Thomas Jefferson Carothers Jr. was born on November 26, 1938 to Thomas and Dorothy Carothers in San Francisco, California. The family moved to Fresno California when Thomas was very young. He attended school and graduated from San Joaquin High School in 1956.
After graduation, Thomas attended Fresno State College where he received a Bachelors Degree before entering the Army Reserve and becoming a member of the National Guard.where he was given orders to become active duty during Operation Desert Storm.
Thomas volunteered for St. Vincent DePaul and later on began collecting information for his genealogy and was very proud to have The Thomas Jefferson Collection of Genealogy with the Williamson County Genealogy in Franklin Tennessee. In his spare time, Thomas worked with photography when he was not with his grandchildren. He loved his family.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by wife, Nancy C. Carothers of Milwaukie, Oregon, sons, Sean Carothers of Kimberly, Oregon, and Devlin Carothers of Portland, Oregon, daughter, Colleen Roderick of Cornelius, Oregon, granddaughters, Grace Carothers, Faith Carothers, Deliah Carothers,and Magdalene Carothers, sisters, Joanne Longaker and Kathy Hattaway.
