

Hiller, Thomas R. 73, Dec. 14, 1938. Tom passed away Friday, January 13th at his home after a short, courageous battle with lung cancer. He was born in Portland, Oregon and graduated from Beaverton High School. Tom spent four years in the Navy and then delivered milk and ice cream for Carnation before he started his own screen printing and embroidery business in 1978 – still in operation today. He spent 15 years with the Hillsboro Active 20-30 club holding treasurer, vice president and president positions, and was awarded “Man of the Year. He also started two additional Active 20-30 clubs in Beaverton and Tigard. Tom was an avid hunter, skier and cyclist, and enjoyed fishing. He coached and refereed his children’s basketball teams as a part of Tualatin Hills Park and Recreation. Tom is survived by his three children, Robert Hiller of Beaverton, Laura Moore of Beaverton and Catherine Needham of Portland, and four grandsons.
