He died due to complications after an unexpected heart attack. Though a failing heart took him away from this world, the love he created will continue on with his family and community.
Thuyet is survived by his beautiful wife, Hoai, to whom he was married for 50 years, and was a proud father to three sons; Son, Vu, and Cuong Luu. He will be lovingly remembered by his daughters-in law, Helen Le and Kimble Luu, and his grandchildren, Rachel, Quinn, Zoe, Isley, Beckett, and Deacon.
The strong silent type, Thuyet will be remembered for his unfaltering dedication to his family, and his love of watching his grandchildren play.
A funeral will be held on Monday, March 28 at the Skyline Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home, followed by a reception. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, those close to Thuyet consider making a donation to Doernbecher Children’s Hospital.
