Timothy Martin Ferrell

Timothy Martin Ferrell, 40, of Portland, OR, departed this world on July 20, 2016 in his adopted hometown of Portland. Tim was born on February 19, 1976 in Tyler, TX to parents William Patrick Ferrell and Virginia Lynn Ferrell Green. He grew up in Tyler and also lived in Austin and Dallas before moving to Portland where he met his husband Manny Reyes. He is a graduate of Lee High School in Tyler, the Art Institute of Dallas, and Portland State University. Tim was active in the arts and music communities and contributed many visual and musical works as well as technical expertise for his friends’ work and performances. He was kind, warm, quiet, and abundantly creative. He dearly loved his family and friends and that love was mutual, strong, and unfailing. He will be deeply missed. He is survived by the love of his life Manny Reyes of Portland, his mother Lynn Green of Tyler, his brother Brian Ferrell and sister-in-law Amy Ferrell of Dallas, his grandmother Marie Talbot of Tyler, two loving nephews as well as many other cousins, aunts, uncles, and dear friends. He is preceded in death by his father Pat Ferrell, his grandparents Hub Ferrell, Neta Mae Ferrell, and Jack Talbot. A memorial service will be held on July 29th at 3:00pm at The Episcopal Church of the Transfiguration, 14115 Hillcrest Rd in Dallas, TX. A memorial will take place in Portland, OR on August 27th.
