

He was born in Solo, Indonesia on September 7, 1942.
Tony attended school in Indonesia, Holland and Germany before moving to the United States from the Netherlands.
Tony met the love of his life in Torrance, CA. He married Mary Nathalia on February 29, 1980 in the courthouse followed immediately by breakfast at McDonald’s. Their wedding ceremony was held on March 17, 1980 in a castle in Holland.
Tony served in the US Army as a SP5 (Sergeant) including a tour in Germany during the Vietnam War. He spoke seven languages and by 1970 completed a circuit of the globe with a trip to Hawaii.
Tony had an early career as an Executive Chef and after retiring from Sky Chef as the Regional Vice President, worked most of his life running his own businesses.
His passions included a love for the outdoors, hunting, fishing, spending time with his family and making wonderful meals for friends and families around him. Tony had a heart of gold, a generous spirit and always sought out ways to give back to his community, family, friends and church.
He is survived by Tina-Marie Nathalia (daughter), Peter Nathalia (son) & Peter’s Wife, Breanna Nathalia; their children, Marley, Rylan & his “best friend” Reagan Nathalia; his sisters Celestine de Cuyper and Paula Heijden.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Pieter & Albertina Nathalia, and siblings, Cyril, Reina, Ronald, Else and Hedy.
