Trung Thanh Pham, lovingly known as "Ey" and "Jung," passed away on March 21, 2026, in Portland, Oregon, at the age of 44. Trung passed away doing what he loved, riding motorcycles. Born on December 10, 1981, in My Tho, Vietnam, to parents Duc Pham and Chau Tran, Trung’s journey through life was marked by love, generosity, and an unwavering dedication to his family and friends.
Trung moved to the United States from Vietnam in 1992 and built a life filled with hard work and meaningful connections. A graduate of Franklin High School, he went on to dedicate much of his career to Precision Castparts as a Reworker. Known for his strong work ethic and genuine nature, Trung was admired by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
In November 2025, Trung married his beloved spouse of over 25 years, Thanh Pham. Their enduring bond was a testament to their deep love and commitment. Together, they raised two daughters, Kellianne Pham and Jinjenah Pham, who were the light of his life. Trung also shared a close relationship with his siblings: Tam, Thuy Chi, Thuy Em, Emily, and Phi.
Trung’s passions extended beyond his professional life. He found joy in fixing cars and motorcycles—a skill that reflected both his resourcefulness and creativity. An avid outdoorsman, he cherished fishing trips (where catching fish was secondary to bonding with loved ones), camping adventures, and mushroom hunting expeditions. For Trung, these activities were not just hobbies but opportunities to connect with family and friends while embracing the beauty of nature.
Those who knew Trung will remember him as a man with a heart of gold. His generosity knew no bounds; he always put others first and brought joy wherever he went. With an infectious smile and a sincere spirit, Trung had an extraordinary ability to touch the lives of everyone around him. He was the life of every gathering—his humor and warmth leaving lasting impressions on all who crossed his path.
Trung’s love for Hennessy—fondly referred to as “water of life”—was emblematic of his playful personality. He lived fully and authentically, embracing every moment with enthusiasm and gratitude. Tragically yet fittingly reflective of his adventurous spirit, Trung passed while doing what he loved most: riding his motorcycle.
As we celebrate Trung’s remarkable life, we honor the legacy he leaves behind—a legacy defined by love, kindness, laughter, and unforgettable memories. May those who knew him find comfort in remembering the joy he brought into their lives.
A devoted husband, father, brother, friend—and above all—a truly exceptional human being: Trung Thanh Pham will be deeply missed but forever cherished in our hearts.
