Tyler James Barron, beloved son, partner, and friend, passed away on May 15, 2025, in his hometown of Portland, Oregon. He was 28 years old.
Born on September 22, 1996, to Scott Barron and Shacrea Runyan, Tyler was a bright light in every room he entered. He lived his life with open arms and an even more open heart, always ready to laugh, dance, and bring people together. His warmth was magnetic—whether through his big, unforgettable hugs or the way he made everyone around him feel seen and valued.
Tyler shared a deep and enduring love with his longtime girlfriend, Amelia, with whom he built a life full of laughter, support, and shared adventures.
A true son of Portland, Tyler cherished the city for its vibrant diversity, culture, and community. He found joy in the simple things—cooking for friends and family, exploring the trails and natural beauty of Oregon, and connecting with people from all walks of life. His passion for bringing joy to others and his unmatched ability to make people feel at home defined him.
