The youngest child of Gayle Perkins and Nellie Bishop, she grew up in Dufer and attended school there and in Canyonville.
She was married to Hubert Wilson from 1946 until he died in 1984. In 1986, she married Lamar Barnes and was with him until he died in 2012.
She worked at Columbia Basin Electric and Morrow County Grain Growers. Faye loved music. She played the accordion and piano and loved to dance.
She is survived by 3 children: Rogenia Van Schoiack, who lives in Minden, LA, Kim Wilson from Salem, OR and Clayton Wilson from Beaverton, OR; five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by Rita Kay who died in infancy and a grandchild, Marisha.
A memorial service is being held at 1pm on June 10, 2022 at the Grace Baptist Church, 555 SW 11th St, Hermiston, OR 97838 followed by interment at the Heppner Masonic Cemetery.
