Veronica Fedelia Ault

We are sad to announce the passing of our dear mother, Veronica Fedelia Ault, of Portland, Oregon. Veronica, (Roni, as we all knew her) passed away at the age of 81 on May 10, 2023. Roni passed away surrounded by loved ones after a hard fought battle with cryptogenic organizing pneumonia.

Roni is survived by her two children Victoria Weivoda of Aloha, Or and Thomas Ault Jr of Vancouver, Wa. 6 grandchildren Nicholas, Philip, Matt, Austin, Brianna and William and a great granddaughter, Charlotte.

Roni was predeceased by her mother, Fedelia Zoren, her brother Louis Zoren and her husband Thomas Ault. Roni has left behind her sisters Laurie Uptgraft of Olympia Wa, Marlene Sell of Rockford Il, nephew Nathan and niece Tracie.

Roni was a loving mother and grandmother. She lived in Portland for the majority of her life. Portland is where she met her husband Thomas and gave birth to her 2 children Victoria and Thomas Jr. Roni was well known for her gardening, crocheting and being full of laughter and joy. Oh let’s not forget the amazing back rubs and endless hugs!

Roni always wanted to make others laugh, that was her mission upon meeting others and being around family, and friends. Roni was also well known for her big heart of gold for others.

A visitation and viewing for Veronica will be available from 10:00 am to 10:30am and a rosary service will be held Thursday, May 25, 2023 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 25 N. Rosa Parks Way, Portland, OR 97217.

A funeral mass will occur Thursday, May 25, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 25 N. Rosa Parks Way, Portland, OR 97217.

A committal service will occur Thursday, May 25, 2023 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at Willamette National Cemetery, 11800 SE Mt Scott Blvd., Happy Valley, OR 97086.

Due to time constraints there will be no reception.

Hopewell House did an amazing job caring for our mother during her final days.

Veronica, Roni will truly be missed and we all will carry her in our hearts forever.
