Virgil came to visit my military history class and shared his experiences as an armored infantry NCO in World War Two. His visit was a remarkable contribution to the class's understanding of the effects of modern warfare on the participants. He was a very generous man and I will always remember him fondly. Best wishes to the Flath family on this sad occasion.
