

A Vancouver resident at the time of her passing, Virginia Marie Fordham died peacefully at the age of 91. She was born in Portland, OR on March 13, 1927. She graduated from Girls Polytechnic High School and attended Oregon State University to further her education in administrative assistance. She was married to Leslie E. “Roy” Fordham on February 22, 1947. Prior to moving to Vancouver in 1993, she raised her family in Aloha, OR.
She dedicated her life to her family and working in the front office at Fordham & Fordham CPA’s in Hillsboro OR. She also found passion in crocheting, quilting, worldwide travel and puzzles.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by daughters, Leslie J. Fordham, Linda S. White (Gordon), and Lisa F. Gibert; grandchildren, Michelle White, Matthew White, Nathan Gibert and Megan Gibert, and great granddaughter, Ariel Newell.
Her husband of 61 years, Leslie “Roy” Fordham and her son-in-law Brett Gibert preceded her death.
A celebration of life service will be held on Thursday, October 4th, 2:00 at Lincoln Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home, 11801 SE Mt. Scott Blvd., Portland, OR. In lieu of flowers, family suggests that remembrances be contributions to Clark College Foundation, Fordham Family Scholarship Fund.
