Virginia A. Maas was born on October 3rd, 1932 to parents Charles and Minnie Rappe in Leola, South Dakota. Virginia graduated from Franklin High School in 1951. She announced her engagement to Robert William Maas on April 23rd, 1950, and they got married at Vernon Presbyterian Church, on January 27th, 1951. Virginia was an active member of Tigard Christian Church for many years.
She is predeceased by her husband, Robert, and grandson, Jordan. Virginia is survived by her brother, Don Rappe and sister, Margaret Johnson both from Spokane, WA, children, Pamela G. Maas, Gregory W. Maas, Robert B. Maas as well as 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She will be dearly missed. There will be a service of remembrance in honor of her at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home on Tues., Sept. 17th, at 11am.
