She was born in St. Peter Minnesota to parents John and Vlasta Howitt. Her childhood consisted of being in the outdoors, hunting and fishing with her family.
Virginia was a member of the Friends of Timberline, Supreme Cootiettes, and the Tioga Mountain Men.
She was married to Harold Lee Mick, and they enjoyed cruising and traveling together until he passed away in 2016 after 60 years of marriage.
Virginia was preceded in death by her son-in-law Bob Genoe husband, and parents. She is survived by her children, Laura Genoe, John Mick (Melissa), and Heidi Noyce; her brother Albert Chacey; 4 granddaughters, 10 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.
A visitation for Virginia will be held Thursday, June 15, 2023 at 9:00 AM at Finley-Sunset Hills Mortuary, 6801 SW SUNSET HWY, PORTLAND, OR 97225. Following the visitation will be a graveside service at 10:00 AM at Sunset Hills Memorial Park 6801 SW SUNSET HWY, PORTLAND, OR 97225.
