Virginia grew up in Portland and on “the peninsula” in Washington where she first fell in love with the beach. She was the only child of Al and Florence Noe. At Jefferson High School she met her life long girlfriend Evelyn and in later years they become part time neighbors at Waldport Oregon. Virginia met her husband Howard at the Imperial Roller Skate Rink and were married in 1949. Virginia worked for many years juggling the responsibilities of work and family, raising three children. She finally got to retire in 1989, making the most of it by traveling the world. Her favorite place though was always the Oregon coast. She loved her house, her family, margaritas, cats and sometimes the occasional dog. She will be missed.
