I will always remember Virginia for her kindness and beautiful spirit. She and Fran Shipp were wonderful neighbors for my family to have. They kindly helped my Mother when she had a severe accident. Virginia and her family greeted us with open arms when I moved back to Portland. We even had a movie club with her and Barbara. Good Memories! For friendship, for a laugh or sometimes requested advice Virginia was there. A rare person that I will always treasure and be grateful for.

Dear Shipp Family, I enjoyed Mrs. Shipp so much during my visits with her and Barb. It was so fun to play games at the kitchen table, occasionally with a little shot of something! We laughed so hard we'd cry many times. I loved her stories, and she liked to hear stories. I'm honored to have known her.
You are all in my heart and prayers. You have a wonderful family!
Much love to you, Julie Bourgeois

To the Shipp family: Your mom was the kindest, sweetest mom. I had so many fun times visiting Barb and Virginia - watching a Blazer game (we were Blazer buddies - she even gave me a Blazer poster one time) and having dinner and just visiting with each other. She will be missed by so many. I will hold my happy memories with your mom in my heart always........With Love, Katie Bradford
