Walter was born on May 18, 1925 in Courtland, Virginia to parents, Roger and Euia Brown. He grew up in Virginia and at a young age went into active military duty. He honorable served his country in World War II serving in the United States Army.
He is survived by his beloved wife Mildred. They shared many happy years of marriage as they raised seven children.
His memory will be cherished by his wife Mildred; children Helene Wesley, Barbara Orange, Walter M. Brown Jr., Anthony Brown, Arnold Brown,& Francine Barnes; sisters, Mary Keck, Eliza Mason, & Lelia Taylor; 15 Grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.; and a host of nieces, nephews and dear friends.
He is predeceased by his parents, his daughter Yvonne Brown, and several siblings.
