Wilbur Oscar Kennel was born in Champion, Minnesota, to parents Oscar C. and Pearl L. "Lulu" (Eisenmann) Kennel on September 1, 1917.
He served in the United States Army in WWII and was involved in the campaigns of Guadalcanal and the Northern Solomons.
He retired as a mechanic for Northwest Natural Gas.
He is predeceased by his Wife, Dorothy.
Survivors include his sister-in-law, Bernice Kennel; and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews in Oregon, Washington, North Dakota and Minnesota.
