Bill was a very unique individual. He started dating my good friend, roommate and co-worker Marilyn about 32 years ago (I may be a little off). Most of the time he was smiling and joking around. He was a like an Uncle to my children and grandchildren. Every year he and Marilyn would make the long trip to McMinnville for a wonderful visit that usually entailed a trip to Laurel wood Winery, Spirit Mtn. Casino and dinner, he was always so generous. After a few years I was unable to do anything but the dinner, but Bill always cracked us up anyway. When I was without a vehicle and in need he donated his late Father's Mercury Sable Wagon to me! It was a lifesaver. He was very talented at fixing a house up to be just like a magazine, I was able to see two of them. You could eat out of his garbage cans, everything was always so clean and organized. Now he can rest, if the pearly gates are well polished!
