William Thomas (Bill) Miller died on September 14, 2020. He was a graduate of Sunset High School in Beaverton, OR and attended Portland State University. Bill spent most of his life working as a skilled auto mechanic and was proud to have been a Texico gas station francize owner. He loved competition, winning many racket ball and pool tournaments. As an umpire for baseball and softball, he was tough but fair. He delighted in riding his Harley Davidson on open roads. Bill developed lasting friendships and loved animals, especially his cat, Willy.
Bill was born in Denver, CO on October 18, 1952 and lived almost all his life in the Portland, OR area. He is proceeded in death by his parents, Wesley and Vera Miller, and his sister Diana Miller Watkins. He is survived by his sister, Caroline (Steve) Simon, and nephews, Paul (Julie) Simon and Matt (Julie) Simon and grandnieces, Riley and Skyler. During his last years he was the beneficiary of help from the American Kidney Fund and his memory would be fittingly honored by donations to that organization.
