Throughout his life, Dr. Robertson was admired for the steady strength he brought to every season - meeting change with resilience, work with diligence, and each day with a quiet sense of purpose. He carried himself with honesty and patience, offering a dependable presence that others could trust and lean on.
That dependable presence continued into his career as a medical doctor. He loved being a medical doctor and served his community until he retired at age 73.
To those who knew him well, he will be remembered as a beloved and cherished man whose generosity was expressed not in grand gestures, but in consistent, selfless care. His compassion and gentle manner made room for others, and his kind-hearted spirit was felt in the way he listened, encouraged and showed up again and again with devotion.
Dr Robertson also possessed a warm sense of humor that could lighten a moment and bring people together. In both ordinary and difficult times, he remained inspirational in the simplest, most enduring way: by living with integrity, perseverance, and a sincere regard for the people around him.
Above all, he was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. His love, guidance, and steadfast support formed a lasting legacy - one that will continue in the lives of those he helped shape and, in the memories, held close by family and friends.
William will join his beautiful wife Joyce, whom William was married to for 56 wonderful years.
William leaves behind his 3 children, Carl, Maria and Billy, and his 2 grandchildren Taryn and Taylor.
