Bill was born on May 18, 1961 to John and Irma Serocki in St. Joseph, Missouri and was raised with three siblings. He worked as a laborer in multiple industries and later went on to college to pursue a career as a professor. He married Debra Rider and together they raised three children until her passing in 1988. Bill was a jack of all trades and enjoyed tinkering on projects both in and around his home. He also enjoyed working on cars/machines, riding motorcycles, and took pride in keeping a well-manicured yard. Bill had a kinship with nature, especially the animals, trees, and mountains of the Pacific Northwest. Empathy, honesty (even when it hurt), integrity, outspokenness, and fearlessness are just a few of the many words to describe Bill and the life he led.
