Yasuko was born February 21, 1922 to Asajiro and Sumi Naganuma. Yasuko graduated from Gresham High school and then was interned with her family during WWII at a work camp near Minidoka, Idaho. She married Frank Sunada December 31, 1945 and together they raised one son, Frank Jr. Yasuko was a homemaker and gardener
She enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting and ceramics.
Yasuko was preceded in death by her husband, Frank; brothers, Yosh, Sam, and Herb Naganuma.
She is survived by her son Frank Jr (Karen); grandsons, Brian (Mamiko); Roger (Sae); granddaughter, Julie; four great grandchildren; brother, Jack Naganuma (Brenda) and nieces and nephews.
