Yvonne Geraldene Grochowski, age 61, of Portland, Oregon passed away on Wednesday June 27, 2018. Yvonne was born May 31, 1957. Born in Ely, Nevada to Roy Liebsack and Mildred (Brink), soon afterwards the family moved to Chester, Nebraska. One of her most precious memories was of her baptism as a young girl in Chester at St. John Lutheran church. The next step in the beautiful adventure of her life was moving to Oregon, when she was about three years old, and Portland became home.
Yvonne is most notably remembered for her generosity, her big heart, love of life and an amazing work ethic. Her memory will continue to brighten our hearts and lives just as she did when we were together.
Yvonne is survived by her eldest brother Rodger Liebsack, her youngest sister Angelia Pearson, two sons Mitchell and David Grochowski and three beautiful grandchildren; Audrey, Maia and Marissa.
Prior to Yvonne's passing she was preceded in death by her older sister Shirley and younger brother Robert Liebsack.
