Anthony was born on October 1, 1982 to the late Bradley and Kimberly (Pruitt) Simmons in McKenzie Tennessee. He graduated from Clarksville High school. He entered the Army National Guard in 2001 and transferred at a later date to the Navy Reserve until discharged in 2008.
