Beverly J Brownell

Beverly J. Brownell passed on May 27, 2026, at the Canton Potsdam Hospital at the age of 90. She is entrusted to the Garner Funeral Service. There will be no funeral or calling hours. She donated her body to science at the University of Rochester.

Beverly was born on December 4, 1935, in Potsdam, New York. She was the daughter of Raymond and Bernice (Cline) Barnes of West Potsdam.

Beverly worked many places around St. Lawrence County in her years as an accountant. After retiring twice, she volunteered for several organizations, including the Red Cross Blood Drives.

She was united in marriage to Donald Brownell on June 18, 1954.

She is predeceased by her parents and two brothers Paul and Billy (Ardis) Barnes.

She is survived by her husband and children, daughter Sylvie Arnold and husband, Bill, of Parishville, and three sons Benjamin, West Potsdam, Jeffrey and wife Amy of Winthrop and Aaron, Texas.
