Carol, when I first met you, you were just another coworker my mom was introducing me to. 7 years later, and I am very thankful that your memory is not a fleeting one for me. 

You were so much more than just a nurse and friend. You were a grandma to my son, and you were there and helped me and Courtney through the birth. You were there to answer texts or calls when I had questions about certain things to do for him, or what the best brand for a certain thing was for him. You were my sons first 'docca'(DR). 

You were someone I trusted not only with my well-being, but that of my child. You always helped me out by letting me work for you, or take you shopping, and even just the occassional treat to a nice meal. You became so much more than just a coworker of my moms. You became my family.

I will always love and miss you Carol.

Carol was a unique, caring person and she will be greatly missed by so many.  She helped care for our children when they were little ones, and was there for our granddaughter during her 1st days in the world.  Our thoughts and condolences go out to her family.

Carol was an outstanding nurse and would go beyond what she had to do. She stayed with me for 4 extra hours past her shift. I loved her humor. Thank you Carol for all the care you have given to so many Moms out there. CPH was a better place because of you.

Carol,my dear friend, you will be sorely missed. You have been my personal confidant, counselor, friend, doctor, buddy at meals, shopping and vegetable stands. We have laughed together, worshipped together, ridden all over the north country together. I will not know what to do when you do not call and ask, "what's up?". I will no longer need to drive you to your Chemo or sit with you through it. I will no longer need to drive you to the pharmacy or to the lab.I am grateful that I had the privilege to attend the Cancer Survivor Dinner with you 2 yrs in a row. I will miss you dearly but am consoled by the fact that you are no longer in pain and have hopefully met up with those who left before you. You are loved. You will be remembered always.
