Colleen graduated from Colton Pierrepont Central School in 1963 and went on to attend Albany Medical School for nursing, graduating in 1965. She devoted her working life to caring for others as an LPN at Canton Potsdam Hospital, where her resilience and steady presence served patients and colleagues alike. Reading was a favorite pastime, reflecting her thoughtful nature and the quiet comfort she found in learning and reflection.
She also gave generously of herself to others, serving as a girl scout leader for many years. In that role, her compassionate spirit and devotion to young lives were felt in steady guidance, encouragement, and care.
