Crystal A. Arquitte

A memorial service for Ms. Crystal A. Arquitte, 37, of Norfolk will be held at Garner Funeral Service on Monday, June 20 at 6:00 pm with Pastor Tom Chappell officiating. Calling hours will be held 4:00pm until the time of service. Crystal passed away at University of Vermont Medical Center on Monday, June 6, 2022.

She is survived by her boyfriend of over 10 years “Junior” James Root Jr, of Norfolk, her children Brandy Arquitte, Mason, Michael, Brooke and Brianne Deshane, and Bently and Brently Root, her father Wayne Arquitte Sr. of Potsdam, a brother Wayne Arquitte Jr. of Potsdam a sister Amber Degonzague, a paternal uncle Lyle Arquitte of Moira, paternal aunts Winny Butterfield of Knapps Station and Caroline (“Peanut” Howard) Fisher of New Rochelle, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Crystal was predeceased by her mother Mary Ferris, paternal grandparents Simeon and Elsie Arquitte, maternal grandparents, and paternal aunts Betty (Gordon) Oaks and Helen (Delbert) Fisher.

Ms. Arquitte was born on October 26, 1984 in Potsdam to Wayne Arquitte and Mary Ferris. She attended Norwood-Norfolk Central School then began to start her family. She enjoyed camping, fishing, gardening, watching fireworks, decorating and celebrating Halloween and spending time with her family.
